It's often said that your wardrobe says a lot about you. The clothes we put on are often indicative of our character, style and self-image and can affect the way others perceive and behave towards us. It’s therefore important to always be properly dressed for whatever activities or engagements we have lined up for the day.

As important as it is to portray a good physical image, it matters to the Lord that we are properly adorned on the inside with the right virtues. Colossians 3:12-13 (MSG) says; So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you.
The challenges you face are the exams of life: they are for you to either win or lose. It’s important to realise also, that they come from different places- they could even be the way people treat you or talk to you. Be determined to never let someone else’s bad behaviour change your personality. The only way you truly win is by the power of love. From the Kings James Version, Verse 14 of the portion of scripture we read earlier says, And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. The Passion Translation refers to Love as ‘the mark of maturity’. In other words, the more you Love, the more the Lord is seen in your life.
Love is practised; make it a point of duty to constantly express the love of God in you. See people beyond what your physical senses tell you about them. The more you do this, the more you’re beginning to see them like God. A man’s value is measured by the quality of love that flows from him. The Bible shows us in Daniel Chapter 4, how King Nebuchadnezzar was punished for the wrong he did in the sight of the Lord but was eventually shown mercy by the Lord, such that he had a testimony.
Learn to love like the Lord.
